Since 1999, the Foundation has:
 Developed an educational curriculum - The Freedom Writers Diary: Teacher's Guide
- Provided scholarships for 233 teachers to be trained in Long Beach, CA at the Freedom Writers Institute
- Provided over 210 college scholarships for original Freedom Writers and students with similar backgrounds from Woodrow Wilson High School in Long Beach, CA
- Motivated hundreds of thousands of people at over 1, 500 events
- Published The Freedom Writers Diary, Teach With Your Heart, the 10th anniversary edition of The Freedom Writers Diary, and Teaching Hope: Stories from the Freedom Writer Teachers
